Dry-type transformers are electrostatic devices used for AC voltage, current conversion and AC energy transmission. Electric transmission is realized based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. Dry-type transformers can be divided into power transformers, test transformers, instrument transformers and special transformers. Dry-type transformer test The transformer is a device that performs withstand voltage (step-up) tests on electrical equipment. Its main function is to transmit electrical energy, and its rated capacity is its main parameter. Rated capacity is a general value that expresses electric power, which is the magnitude of the transmitted power, expressed by KVA or MVA. When applying the rated voltage to the transformer, determine the rated current that does not exceed the temperature rise limit according to the specified conditions. The energy-saving power transformer is the core dry-type transformer of amorphous alloy, and the great advantage is that the loss value of air vibration is low. Whether the no-load loss value can be guaranteed is the core issue that should be considered in the entire design process. In the product structure configuration, in addition to the amorphous alloy core itself free from external forces, the characteristic parameters of the amorphous alloy must also be selected correctly and reasonably. A transformer consists of two or more coils wound on the same core. The windings are connected by an alternating magnetic field and work according to the principle of electromagnetic induction. The installation location of the transformer should be a safe and reliable place that is convenient for operation, maintenance and transportation. When using a transformer, the rated capacity of the transformer must be selected reasonably. Transformers require large reactive power during idling operation. These reactive powers should be provided by the power supply system. Excessive transformer capacity not only increases the initial investment, but also operates the transformer with no load or light load for a long time, which increases the proportion of no-load loss, reduces the power factor, and increases the network loss. If the capacity of the transformer is too small, the transformer will be overloaded for a long time and it is easy to damage the equipment. Therefore, the rated capacity of the transformer should be selected according to the needs of the electrical load, and should not be too large or too small.
